2015 going in to 2016................
Well, it is nearly time to say goodbye to one year and to welcome in another! 2015 certainly seems to have flown by. Lots of exciting things have happened this year here at Whitby Holiday Park and we are looking forward to seeing what 2016 will bring!
We had the introduction of the Cinema in to the Club House which so far seems to have been a success. Don't forget if there is a particular film that you would like to see whilst you are staying with us ( as long as it is not a new release) just pop into the office and let us know and we will try and make sure that it gets put on.
We also had four new hard standing motor home pitches and a new service area put in, just as you come through the entrance.
These have gone down really well and have been very popular! Some have already been requested for next year, so if you fancy staying on one of these then don't leave it too long before you book your stay!
We were also treated to a nice new open plan reception. You can still pop in to find out any information on the surrounding area or see what attractions are close by.
So that was 2015.
What will 2016 bring?
A new outside play park!
Yes, that's right, we are getting a new, updated and modern play park to suit both young and old children. Work is going to start on this in the new year with it being ready for when we open at the beginning of March. I'm not going to spoil it by putting up pictures. If you want to see our new play park, you'll have to book a stay with us or pay us a visit!
We have space for 120 touring caravans and motor homes on our touring field and we hope to see all of these occupied every weekend throughout the year! Some weekends next year are already starting to get booked up, particularly both Goth Weekends (22nd-24th April and 4th - 5th November), Whitby Regatta ( 20th - 22nd August) and Easter (25th -27th March). Don't leave it too late to book your pitch, we would'nt want any of you to miss out! Don't forget Bank Holiday weekends we require a minimum of three nights and Goth weekends we require a minimum of two nights.
We also have 21 Static Caravans that we hire out. Most of these can sleep between 4-8 people (please check with the office before you book). Again, on certain weekends these are starting to fill up so don't leave it too late otherwise you will miss out!
So, we would like to wish all of our customers old and new, and all of our followers a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year...........we look forward to seeing you all in 2016!
