Whitby's Very Own Beer Festival...................................

WHITBY DISTRICT LIONS CLUB
6TH CHARITY BEER FESTIVAL

From Thursday 30th July until Sunday 2nd August Whitby will be holding its very own Charity Beer Festival.  It is now in its 6th year and is doing better than ever!

It is being held in the Whitby Mission and Seafarers Centre.  It is open every day from 12pm Lunchtime through till 10pm on an evening, apart from Sunday when it is open from 12 lunchtime until 4pm.

It is open to everyone and even children are welcome.  It costs just £5 to enter and for this, not only do you get entry into the festival but you also get a festival glass, programme and beer token!

There will be around 30 local or regional microbreweries offering real ales and different ciders, along with some locally sourced food to compliment both the beers and ciders!

All money raised over the weekend will be going to  local charities and good causes!

So if you fancy doing something a bit different whilst you are here at the beginning of August, why not pop down and have a wander round whilst sampling some of the country's finest ales!
