Teddy Bear Picnic at North Yorkshire Moors Railway

If you are fancying a trip on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, why not head on down this week! Running from 25th May – 2nd June you will be in for a big surprise! Bring your teddy bear and one child (aged 5-15 years) will be able to visit free when accompanied by one fare paying adult!

So pack up your lunch to take with you, along with your camera so that you can take some great family holiday snaps! Leave the car behind and take a gentle stroll along the Cleveland Way footpath to Whitby Abbey and down the 199 steps from the Church, make sure you count all the steps correctly!

You will be able to get onboard from Whitby train station, see if you can spot all the teddy bear pictures at the following stops: Pickering, Levisham, Goathland and Grosmont. You will be able to pick up a tracker sheet from any NYMR booking office, shop or tea room!

Whilst you are enjoying the beautiful scenery why not think of a name for the new station cat that has joined NYMR for the 40th anniversary celebrations. You can also play eye spy and see if you can spot any of our wildlife.

After an eventful day, meander back up onto the Park and enjoy a well earned drink in our Family Club, with entertainment for everyone to enjoy!

So if this sounds like your idea of fun why not book a static caravan or book your touring caravan in for a stay with us at Whitby Holiday Park!
